Abstract Cryptography is a method of storing and transmitting data in a particular form so that only those for whom it is intended can read and process the data. The ability to securely store andtransfer sensitive information has proved a critical factor in success, especially during war and business. In this study,we introduce a new method of sending secret messages which is very difficult to break. We use rhotrices to encode and decode messages which are respectively called theencoding rhotrixand decoding rhotrix. The applications of rhotrices topolyalphabetic cipher systems provedto be one of themost secured and constructive method of analysing protocols, prevent public or third parties called adversariesfrom reading or hearing the message. No amount of unit testing will uncover a security vulnerability in a polyalphabetic cipher systemsparticularly when using rhotrix in encryptingthe message.
