Abstract Fuzzy set theory has a strong track record of success in the field of optimization under uncertainty. It offers a proper framework for coming to grips with situations where imprecision and complexities arethe state of affairs in an optimization setting. This paper introduced a new method called fuzzy optimization by pseudogoal function. It alsogives brief summary of the theory and formulation of the fuzzyoptimization problems and models. Theinterpretation of the problem and formulation of optimal solution in a fuzzy sense are equally emphasized. Keywords: Crisp, Defuzzification,Fuzzy coefficients,Fuzzification, Pseudogoal.
