This study examined the effectiveness of Ms-Excel spreadsheet teaching strategy on senior secondary two students? interest and performance in quadratic function graphs. Specifically, it sought the effectiveness of Ms-Excel spreadsheet teaching strategy on students? interest and achievement, and their gender. The study was conducted in Education zone ?C? Benue State, Nigeria. The study employed a quasi-experimental, non-randomized pre-test post-test control group design with a population of 10,918 students in 206 secondary schools in the study area. A sample of 302 SS2 students was used following purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using Quadratic Function Performance Test (QFPT) and Quadratic Function Interest Inventory (QFII) instruments. The instruments were validated by five experts, two in Mathematics Education, one in Measurement and Evaluation and two Mathematics teachers. The instruments were trial-tested and reliability of QFPT was computed using Kuder-Richardson K-R20 formula, its reliability was 0.82, while that of QFII was computed using Cronbach Alpha ( its reliability was 0.85. Research questions were answered using mean, standard deviation and percentages (scatter gram), while hypotheses were tested using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) at 0.05 level of significance. The results of the study showed among others, that SS2 students taught quadratic function graphs using Ms-Excel spreadsheet teaching strategy improved more on their interest and performance with no gender difference. Suggestions were made among others the need to create awareness among Mathematics teachers, Mathematics educators and curriculum planners to integrate Ms-Excel spreadsheet in particular and ICT in general as a teaching strategy in Mathematics teaching and learning processes. Keywords and phrases: Micro-soft Excel Spreadsheet, Interest, Performance, Quadratic function Graphs, Gender.
