Abstract This study sought for effect of Cluster Schools Model of Teachers? Professional Development on pupils? active participation in Mathematics class in Gombe State. Pupils? participation questionnaire was administered on 320 pupils randomly sampled. The Z-statistic at 0.05 level of significance revealed that there is significant difference in pupils? active participation in Mathematics class between the pre-and-post workshop of the Teacher Professional Development. It is, thus, recommended that the programme should be maintained as the mode of re-training of teachers at these levels of the Nigerian Educational System among others.
